The revered Ritz-Carlton flag has been raised at Texas’ original luxury resort. The Las Colinas Resort, Dallas (formerly Four Seasons Club and Resort Dallas at Las Colinas), is now the Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas. With a portion of the $55 million renovation completed and the final phases just a few months away from finalization, the rebrand became official on January 23rd.

The initial transformation encompasses the opening of Bar Juniper, the resort’s first lobby bar, an overhaul of the resort’s lobby area, re-conception of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets and renovation of the hotel’s 84,000 square feet of meeting space.

The newly conceptualized lobby bar, Bar Juniper, will blend the historical essence of Texas with the warm hospitality of the South. Guests can expect an atmosphere adorned with leather fixtures and gold accents, perfect for enjoying signature cocktails and light bites in an environment that resonates with true Texan spirit.

Part of the rebrand is a re-conception of all hotel food and beverage outlets. This includes the much-anticipated Knife Italian, Michelin-starred Chef John Tesar’s unique culinary experience. The restaurant will have Italian influences mixed with your favorite Texas fare. The decor is far from what you imagine any Italian restaurant to look like. With light fixtures modeled after champagne bubbles over the bar and chandeliers inspired by clouds in the main dining room, there is something to take in and admire at every corner. Expected to open this spring is Campo Coffee & Provision, a new coffee, furthering the refresh of the hotel’s food and drink options.

Upgrades to the entire property are expected to continue through May, led by design firms Jeffrey Beers International and Leo A Daly. Those renovations include a revitalization of the pool area, updates to the 15,000 square foot spa and salon, an overhaul of all 427 rooms and villas and the introduction of a Ritz-Carlton Club lounge. The club lounge will be on the second floor and is expected to open in February with five daily culinary presentations and exclusive events.
