The Las Colinas Association has transformed the community into a dazzling winter wonderland for the season with the annual Las Colinas Holiday Lighting program. From November 21st through January 7th, more than half a million lights will illuminate beloved landmarks, including the Mandalay Canal, E.O. Perry Flower Clock, Island Greens, Rochelle Park, Founders Park and along O’Connor Boulevard. The Mandalay Canal will shine nightly from 5 to 10 p.m. with the Merry & Bright light show synchronized to classic holiday tunes. Don’t forget to tag @LasColinasTex in your festive photos as you explore the magic of the season.

David Weekley Homes is partnering with Metrocrest Services for the Giving Thanks, Giving Back Thanksgiving Drive from November 4th through 13th at Hillside at Las Colinas. Community members are encouraged to donate canned and nonperishable food items to help feed local families in need this holiday season. Donations can be dropped off at the Hillside at Las Colinas model home located at 4815 Fuller Court, #901 between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Suggested items include canned vegetables, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, pasta, rice and other Thanksgiving essentials. Click here to learn more.

Toyota Music Factory will host its On Tap! Friendsgiving Sip+Stroll on November 15th, from 5 to 9 p.m. Guests can enjoy seasonal sips and bites as they explore more than 10 participating restaurants and bars. Attendees will receive a tasting cup and event map upon arrival to guide their culinary adventure. Hackberry Creek Country Club will host a Friendsgiving Wine Dinner on Thursday, November 20th, at 6 p.m. Club members are invited to enjoy an elegant evening featuring a curated multi-course meal paired with fine wines. Start your Thanksgiving morning with the Irving Turkey Trot presented by Irving Marathon Running Series on November 27th, one of North Texas’ favorite holiday traditions. Taking off from the Plaza at Toyota Music Factory, runners and walkers can choose between a scenic 5K or a challenging 8-mile course through the beautiful Las Colinas Urban Center. Enjoy live entertainment and a post-race celebration before heading home for turkey and pie.
