The non-profit DFW Italians has a mission to promote, celebrate, and preserve the rich heritage and culture of Italy in Dallas-Fort Worth. The culmination of these efforts will be to host the inaugural DFW Italian Festival with the authentic tastes and sounds of Italy. Delicious Italian cuisine and beverages will be readily available for purchase, complemented by a vibrant main stage featuring live entertainment such as Austin-based Italian singer-songwriter Giulia Millanta, Opera on Tap, accordionist Mike Borelli, and Houston-based artist Amanda Pascali. Other festival highlights include a procession, a bocce tournament and courts, a Vespa raffle, Italian cars, educational and cultural presentations on olive-oil, wine, and travel to Italy, live theater, Italian lessons, movie screenings, and Italian Air Force representatives, exhibit, and virtual reality experience.
The Italian Heritage and Food Festival is a cashless/cash-free festival. Credit/debit and electronic payment services will be the only accepted methods of payment.
