The Legacy Gala is the signature fundraising event for the Irving Schools Foundation where they celebrate the rich history of Irving ISD and the legacy of community leaders who have made lasting contributions to their mission throughout the years. Since the Legacy Gala’s inception in 2011, proceeds from the event have generated more than $5.1 million to support their programs, which promote educational equity and academic excellence throughout the Irving Independent School District.
This year’s theme, 1980’s Miami Vibes, celebrates the Foundation’s 40th anniversary, paying tribute to its establishment in 1985 with a nod to the iconic “Miami Vice”. Guests will enjoy an elegant, fun-filled evening complete with vibrant entertainment by the David Whiteman Band, delicious cuisine, and opportunities to support programs that benefit Irving ISD students, staff, and teachers.
