The first full week in September is National Waffle Week! You get a whole week to enjoy a hot off the griddle favorite and we’ve rounded up all the spots in Las Colinas to quench that craving.

Gloria’s waffles are a take on Tres Leches cake in waffle form. They’re topped with berries and warm maple syrup. Gloria’s serves brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.

Italian Cafe

Italian Cafe has both sweet and savory griddle options. The savory option is the classic chicken and waffles dusted in powdered sugar. For a sweeter option, they have Belgian berry waffles that are served with a side of house-made berry compote. Brunch is served Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm at Italian Cafe.

Jam + Toast

You can enjoy a hot off the griddle waffle seven days a week, all day at Jam + Toast. With five waffle options to choose from you can mix it up and try something new. Their options are a classic Belgian, berry bliss, strawberry, texas pecan or fresh berry.

Le Peep

At Le Peep, you can take your waffles in any direction you want by adding granola, chocolate chips, nuts or fruit to your stack. They’re topped off with powdered sugar and butter. Le Peep serves breakfast seven days a week from 7 am to 2 pm.

Lupe Tortilla

Who knew a Tex-Mex restaurant could have so many waffle options for brunch? Lupe Tortilla serves brunch Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm. You have the choice of praline, original, strawberry, cinnamon-apple, banana or blueberry fillings for your waffles. Each stack comes with a side of bacon, jalapeno sausage or sausage patties.

Pop Factory

Pop Factory’s fun twist is a portable waffle on a stick. You can top your waffle pop with any of their fun and delicious toppings and sauces. They’re made fresh to order and are sure to satisfy.

Reservoir serves their hot waffles in a cast iron skillet topped with fried chicken. You can dress your waffle how you like with blackberries, syrup or whipped cream which comes conveniently on the side. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.

The Ranch at Las Colinas

On Saturdays the Ranch has brunch from 11 am to 4 pm. In true Texas style, their waffle comes topped with sunny side up eggs, fried chicken, jalapeno sausage gravy and ancho maple syrup.

Thirsty Lion

Kick your chicken and waffles up a notch with Thirsty Lion’s spicy fried chicken and waffles. The chicken is marinated in jalapeno buttermilk batter and fried. Its served with a Belgian waffle, maple pepper bacon and maple syrup. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday at Thirsty Lion.

On Sundays, you can enjoy made to order waffles at Via Real. You have a choice of honey, powdered sugar, chocolate or coconut on the side to dress up your brunch.

You can indulge in Whiskey Cake’s brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 3 pm. Their waffle selection is a bacon-laced mesquite flour waffle topped with crispy chicken tenders, sunny side up local eggs, maple syrup and house sausage gravy.
