On Tuesday, December 10th, the Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand reopening of Toyota Music Factory’s newly renovated plaza. This $9 million transformation brings fresh energy to the space with lush green areas, inviting conversational seating, a kids’ zone, a brand-new stage, new patios and a striking container bar.
The renovations aim to create an inclusive gathering space where visitors can relax, connect and enjoy their evening. Toyota Music Factory plans to host a variety of ongoing events, including concerts and watch parties, making the plaza a hub for community and entertainment.
One standout feature is the container bar, an innovative two-story structure crafted from repurposed shipping containers. Its elevated platform offers guests a bird’s-eye view of the plaza, adding a unique touch to the experience.
Beyond the plaza, the entire property received exciting upgrades. Murals now adorn several structures, while Artist’s Alley, curated by the Irving Arts Center, showcases stunning works from local talent.
New dining options are also on the horizon, including Shoals Smokehouse, Pistil Cocktail Lounge, Jaxon Texas Kitchen, The Table, Chino Mojito, Tashan, and Drizzle Cheesecake. These additions promise to enhance the culinary and cultural offerings at Toyota Music Factory.
