Dazzling Halloween light displays

The Las Colinas Association is embracing spooky season with two ghoulishly good displays.
 
The spellbinding Las Colinas Flower Clock is all aglow now through November 2nd, decked out in orange lights and larger-than-life illuminated spiders. The Mandalay Canal Lights will shimmer in orange and purple hues from October 21st to 31st, setting a spooktacular scene for evening strolls and photos. Both landmarks shine nightly from 6–10 p.m., bringing a wickedly wonderful glow to Las Colinas.

Alamo Drafthouse is gearing up for a spine-tingling Halloween season, featuring special showings of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Corpse Bride’s 20th Anniversary and Frankenstein (2025). With food and drink delivered directly to your seat in one of its sleek auditoriums, it’s the perfect spot to experience cult classics and new monster thrills all month long. Make a splash this spooky season at the Pumpkin Pool Splash, presented by the City of Irving Parks and Recreation. On October 18th from 5–7 p.m., North Lake Natatorium will transform into a Halloween wonderland featuring open swim with floating pumpkins, eerie tunes, and a showing of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (PG-13). Come in costume or just bring your Halloween spirit—this family-friendly event promises a hauntingly good time for all ages.

Take the plunge into frightful fun at the Spooky Dive, presented by the City of Irving Parks and Recreation. On October 18th at 5 p.m., the Heritage Aquatic Center will transform into a haunted swimming spot complete with eerie lights, floating surprises, and ghostly fun around every corner. Get ready for a frightfully fun night at Eerie Irving 2025, presented by the City of Irving. On November 8th from 6–10 p.m., ghosts, ghouls and not-so-scary monsters will take over Trinity View Park at 2221 E. State Hwy 356 for a free, family-friendly evening of Halloween fun. Enjoy carnival games, rides, inflatables, face painting, live music, food vendors and festive photo ops. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., don’t miss this spooktacular celebration for all ages. Unmask the mystery at Mesa Mezcal’s Mystery at the Masquerade: A Murder Mystery Brunch on Sunday, October 26th from 12–2 p.m. Enjoy a decadent brunch buffet, sip themed cocktails, and become part of an interactive whodunit led by The Murder Mystery Co. Celebrate Halloween on the Plaza at Toyota Music Factory on Friday, October 31st at 8 p.m. Grab your costume and your crew for a night of spooky beats, themed photo ops and chillingly good beverages under the stars. This 21+ event will feature an all-star DJ lineup including DJ Quik, DJ Spinderella, DJ Pharaoh and DJ Phyfe, spinning six hours of nonstop music and electrifying Halloween vibes. Join the celebration on October 31st with a live band from 6–9 p.m. followed by a DJ spinning from 9 p.m. to midnight.
