The Irving Schools Foundation (ISF) provides financial resources to maximize educational opportunities for teachers and students in Irving Independent School District (ISD) by funding innovative programs, scholarships and activities that enhance creativity, leadership, and academic success.

The ISF provides college scholarships to graduating seniors and Irving ISD teachers. Scholarships are awarded each spring at the Breakfast with the Stars ceremony and range from $1,000 to $10,000. In 2019, the Foundation awarded over $500,000 in scholarships. ISF also awards cash to each of the Irving ISD Campus Teachers of the Year and the two District Teachers of the Year. They awarded a total of over $18,000 to these teachers in 2019.

Other programs ISF operate include their Community to Classroom store where students in need can get school supplies. They also have a food pantry called food for thought which has provided over 128,000 weekend and holiday meals to students since its inception in March 2019. ISF also provided funding for innovative classroom projects through their Spark Tank program which allows students to pitch their ideas to ISF’s committee and ask for funding.
