Re-introduced to the community in 2023, the beloved Carpenter Cup inter-club golf competition made its return to the green on Thursday, May 22nd. The “Carpenter Cup”, named after Las Colinas founder Ben Carpenter, is a golf competition held between the three esteemed Las Colinas clubs – Hackberry Creek Country Club, Las Colinas Country Club and The Nelson Golf and Sports Club.
The Las Colinas Country Club offered a premier experience as a two-time competition host. The day began with an impressive array of smoky selections and BBQ classics and concluded with a reception-style dinner that left all 72 players feeling like winners.
Las Colinas Country Club offered stand-out performances both on and off the green. The historic club swept the competition and walked away with the revered Champion Club title.
About the competition: Teams consisted of 24 players from each club, participating in a three-player format.
Each player had their own quota to reach, with the clubs taking a combination of the top 20 players for their final (+/-) prospective overall quota to determine the 2025 Carpenter Cup Champion Club. In conjunction with the team competition, an individual stroke play tournament was held for all 72 players, with Gross and Net overall winners.
