Re-introduced to the community just last year, the beloved Carpenter Cup golf tournament made its triumphant return on Tuesday, May 7th. The “Carpenter Cup” golf tournament, named after Las Colinas founder Ben Carpenter, is a competition held between the three distinct Las Colinas clubs – Hackberry Creek Country Club, Las Colinas Country Club and The Nelson Golf and Sports Club.
This year’s tournament was held at Hackberry Creek Country Club, the 2023 Carpenter Cup Champion Club recipient. Teams were comprised of 18 men and 6 women from each club. Players participated in a threesome format using a Stapleford quota system to determine the 2024 Carpenter Cup Champion Club.
For the second year in a row, Hackberry Creek Country Club was named Champion Club.
