Office al Fresco brings free work perks and spaces to Texas Lottery® Plaza

It was a great day to get out of the house and work in the crisp, fall air. Office al Fresco was held Thursday, October 8th on the Texas Lottery® Plaza at the Toyota Music Factory.

There was a seat for everyone with chic comfortable furniture for the individual attendee, functional collaborative space for attendees who worked together and sit-stand Vari-desks for those who wanted a variety of options to work from. Staying powered up and connected to the web wasn’t an issue with the secure Wi-Fi and charging stations powered by Verizon.

Morning attendees enjoyed complimentary breakfast tacos, muffins, yogurt parfaits and coffee provided by Nosh & Bottle. Working professionals never went hungry, or thirsty, with an on-site snack bar providing ice-cold drinks and healthy snacks all afternoon long.

To help those professionally displaced by the pandemic, Speaker Felicia Johnson gave insight about Reinventing your Career in a Pandemic. Complimentary professional headshots were also offered throughout the day by photographer Nick Mallouf.

The afternoon slump was kept away with YogaSix’s chair yoga class. One of their yoga pros took the stage at 2 pm and demonstrated simple, yet effective, chair exercises that attendees can practice during the workday.

As the day came to a close, attendees were able to grab a happy hour beverage while enjoying the smooth sounds of singer-songwriter, Quentin Moore. In addition to wine and beer, Molson-Coors Brewing Company provided the perfect way to unwind with a variety of refreshing Vizzy hard seltzers.

Irving-Las Colinas residents enjoyed the opportunity to work from the beautiful plaza instead of their makeshift home office. Some stayed for a few hours and others stayed the whole day. With work perks like free snacks and Wi-Fi paired with comfortable seating, guests can’t wait to Office al Fresco again.
