August 26th is National Dog Day! What better excuse do you need to spoil your furry friend? The Las Colinas community loves their pups and our restaurants and businesses embrace it. We’ve pulled together this list of how to pamper Fido in Las Colinas.
From jerky to cakes and all-out birthday “PAWty” packages, Homegrown Hounds is the best way to spoil your mutt rotten. You can order items online or go in-store to pick them out yourself. Every item is made with the best and healthiest ingredients for dogs. You can even attend one of their cooking for your dog at home classes and learn about the health benefits of homemade dog food and how best to prepare it.
Everyone is in need of a staycation, including Fluffy. Grab the whole family and get away for the weekend at one of Las Colinas’s pet-friendly hotels.

You’ll never have to worry about what they’re doing because Pet Paradise has 24/7 webcams to check on your pet. They have a shaded turf yard for them to run wild in and in the summer they bring out small pools for them to cool off in.
Many restaurants in Las Colinas have patios that welcome canines. Some even have special menus and treats for your pup. Grab man’s (and woman’s) best friend and enjoy a delicious meal al fresco.
Have your dog become a #RanchRover and order them something tasty from the Ranch Rover dog-friendly menu.
